Peace

PEACE. Peace that liberates our minds from the bondage of guilt and regret. PEACE. A tangible sense of tranquility and contentment powerful enough to overcome any sense of insecurity during times of turmoil and stress Jesus made this promise in the Gospel of John chapter 14 verse 27 "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." PEACE. When we consider the concept of peace we generally perceive peace to be a state of being. Rather than a literal substance. We consider peace to be the absence of turmoil, tragedy, and trial. The bible declares the peace we can receive through the Lord is a powerful tool that will prevent us from losing heart during the disruptions of life. No one really lives a life where they will escape all turmoil, tragedy and trial. PEACE. The Apostle Paul spoke of a peace that is more than a state of being. He wrote in his letter to the Philippians; "and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." {Phil. 4:7} Paul spoke from experience. What is peace "which passeth all understanding?" Essentially it is a peace that does not make sense. A peace that keeps our hearts and minds when due to the circumstances of the moment we should be filled with anxiety, fear or torment. It is not apathy, It is not despair. IT IS THE PEACE OF GOD. Ask your self this question. Do I think that God has ever been worried or concerned that some situation is beyond His ability to solve? We can have access to the peace of God through being born of the Spirit. It is a promise. {See Acts 2:38} PEACE "Thou wilt keep him is perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in Thee." Isaiah 26:3
